Drop forged rivetless chain is designed to eliminate all bending stress when under load, the links being under tension load with the pins in double shear load. This design, in addition, permits very simple assembly or disassembly at any pitch in the chain. The inside radii of the links are broached to allow full pin seating and assure accuracy of pitch.
